Fishing & Hunting
Located north of the rest stop at intersection of Highways 16 & 10. Stocked with Rainbow and Brown trout. No motor boats allowed, but you can use electric motors. The limit is 2 fish each and everyone is welcome to come and fish as long as they have a Manitoba fishing license. The Docks are in place so visitors can fish from shore.
Located by Heritage Village. Stocked in the spring with 8 inch fish. Catch and Release until August 15th - after that you can keep one or two. Same regulations apply as for lake fishing: licensing, etc. Great for children - they don’t need a license.
The Little River Game and Fish Association of Minnedosa was founded approximately 12 years ago to promote and enhance the sport of hunting and fishing in our area of the province. We are affiliated with the Manitoba Wildlife Federation and we presently have a membership of 67. Our group actively sponsors many worthwhile projects in the community.
